Euro Elections

Am I the only person who doesn't know what the process for the Euro election is? Do I vote for an individual or a party?

I haven't yet seen any literature stating who is standing in my constituency, only parties.

Is it going to be a party list system?

It seems pretty strange that this election is so low key. What is going on?

  1. Not sure about the system Diggy but I plan on using the vote as an anti-war protest. So I'll be voting for the party that is likely to have the most impact on our occupation of Iraq. It will be the first time in my life that I have voted for a party other than Labour.

  3. I googled "voting system for European parliament" and came up with this:

  4. Cheers. I thought it must be a list because I hadn't seen the name of anyone standing in my constituency.
