This blog was conceived after the Scottish Cup Final of 2004 when Celtic played Dunfermline. The idea was discussed in The Last Post pub in Paisley late at night as a means of allowing us to share news, opinions and post links of mutual interest. The date of the Final was 22 May.
Wait a minute Bobby. I've just spent about 3 minutes on that clip waiting for a song and all I got was George Michael. At our age when we don't know how long is left is it worth giving 3 minutes to George Michael?
All I could see were women with their hands in the air dancing on the spot. I hope you were doing the same or were you disguising your lack of dance prowess by continually taking videos?
I work with a bloke who went to see George Michael twice this year. I thought he was going because of his partner.
I went with Margaret, Gery, but I must admit to liking some of GM's stuff (his Older album is good).
Yes, I danced and cured my "dance-challenge" by getting pissed. The crowd were great. The women never sat down and everyone seemed to have a great time (as I did). The crowd were probably the highlight of the evening although there were some good songs too (such as "Outside").
GM's an interesting character. Anti-war, pro-cannabis with interesting views on the future of music.

Surprisingly he is also a big Bowie fan. Mmmm.
