This blog was conceived after the Scottish Cup Final of 2004 when Celtic played Dunfermline. The idea was discussed in The Last Post pub in Paisley late at night as a means of allowing us to share news, opinions and post links of mutual interest. The date of the Final was 22 May.
Only difference between this one and JVOH one against St. Mirren (after which armageddon was only averted after a showdown referee summit at Hampden) is the blue jersey. Yet not a even a whiff of a hint of controversy in the media.
Check the "stonewall" penalty for Rangers that was on absolutely no way a dive or embellished by Novo [1:50].

ReplyDeleteI also enjoyed the commentator's reference to the "slight deflection" on Boyd's 2nd goal. I heard he once referred to Hitler as "slightly right wing".
ReplyDeleteA bit of a contrast to the commentator who emphasised "the lucky break" Scott Brown got for our first goal at Motherwell.
