This blog was conceived after the Scottish Cup Final of 2004 when Celtic played Dunfermline. The idea was discussed in The Last Post pub in Paisley late at night as a means of allowing us to share news, opinions and post links of mutual interest. The date of the Final was 22 May.

Religious themes
Continuing the religious themes of the past few blogs the result in Barcelona was clearly a minor miracle. In fact it was something of a resurrection.
It was a miracle to me! I expected a sound beating. Although we rode our luck a little before half-time (it could have been 3-0 at HT), our second half performance was sound. Easily the best performance this season. The worrying thing was that it was achieved with the old guard - nine of the player started in Seville. Whenever, we try the new guys (and I include the "New Pele" - McGeady - in this) we fail. Let's hope this is the start of a decent run of performances.
