Rocket Men

Having recently posted a link to William Shatner's interpretation of Rocket Man, I thought that you might be interested in my own version, taken yesterday when we went walking on the hills near Aberfoyle. The song seemed appropriate since it started to piss-down when we were half way up the hill and the place looked like Jupiter.

Do you recognise the guy in the blue jacket?

  1. It certainly looked more inhospitable than Jupiter. As to the man in blue. I didn't have a clue. I didn't know the person in red either. Is the man in blue the guy in the hippy camper van cooking up the (vegan) sausages? If so I think it is either Billy Connelly or Vincent Lafferty but I'm not betting on it.

Back to usual after Barcelona. I saw a snippet of the Hearts penalty. Boumsong brought De Vries down stopping a clear goal scoring opportunity. That's an automatic red card. Oh no I'm paranoid.

  2. Well, you were close Gerry. It's John Lafferty. We go walking (usually with one or two others) about half dozen times per year.

I saw the Dundee game on TV (my son has Sentanta). I thought we were rubbish bearning in mind that Dundee are bottom of the SPL. How can the worst forward line in the SPL (Dundee's) panic our defence every time they punted a ball down the park?

Now I see why MON said that he would be "happy to have Rangers in sight by January".

  3. Maureen says "..they don't seem to do a lot of walking. They arrive, park the van, take a few pictures and start eating".

I can see what she means.
