This blog was conceived after the Scottish Cup Final of 2004 when Celtic played Dunfermline. The idea was discussed in The Last Post pub in Paisley late at night as a means of allowing us to share news, opinions and post links of mutual interest. The date of the Final was 22 May.
Yes Bobby checked out the Metro article that got that person you referred to hot under the collar and it was barely a paragraph. Also it was titled "Chelsea set to join G-14". Strange headline for a Scottish edition when Celtic are in the same boat don't you think?
And of course we all know the flag waving, trumpet blowing, singing and dancing which would be blaring out from the press if it was TFOD who got the invitation and not us. But because it's Celtic you can barely hear the tumbleweed.
Even I am amazed sometimes at how blatant the bias is, or more accurately that otherwise rational non-Old Firm fans don't see it.
