This blog was conceived after the Scottish Cup Final of 2004 when Celtic played Dunfermline. The idea was discussed in The Last Post pub in Paisley late at night as a means of allowing us to share news, opinions and post links of mutual interest. The date of the Final was 22 May.
I stated on CQN that we have no better than a 10% chance of winning the league (some of the blind optimism does rub off on you you know). My tiny spark of optimism [i voted unlikely in our poll] was ignited by the likeliehood that the Orcs will have 7 out of 9 games away from home on the run-in [watch out for an outcry in our ever vigilant press and media - silence when we were racking up the away games]. I am sure Rangers will drop points.
Today's game will go a long way to convincing me whether we have any chance at all. Even a scrappy 1-0 win will probably result in further denting of my fragile chink of confidence. We need to be convincing today.
If I am being totally honest I think the "confidence" I just expressed is more accurately translated as "hope". Possibly forlorn.

Can I change my vote to 'no chance'?
