  2. The names of two political parties have always mystified me - the "National Socialist Party" (Hitler's pro-corporate, anti-communist, anti-union party) and the "Republican Party" (conservative, elitist, pro-royal).

  3. Bobby, remember the Daily Mail article I told you about? The one where the chap was undulging in much handwringing and soul searching about the "terrible situation in Iraq" and how in future we [the UK]should refrain from such kindly acts of benevolence to liberate oppressed foreign populations and instead take a stance of "cold-headed national interest" [exactly what Blair did]

    Well I forgot to mention that he blamed our Iraq folly on "liberal interventionism" and stated that this "policy" should be consigned to the dustbin.

    Is he seriously suggesting that the nutjobs currently incumbent in Washington are liberals?? Or Blair for that matter?

    No doubt much of the chattering middle classes read this pish and nodded sagely.
